Lennox Smokin’ Barrel originated in mid 2018 from two mates in our backyard. So many thoughts and ideas came together sitting around the fire, drinking a few beers and smoking our own foods from our homemade smoker. From these humble beginnings, Lennox Smokin’ Barrel rose from the flames.

For the first couple of years our iconic mobile smoking rig could be found at Sharpes Beach, providing surfers, beach goers and all that drove past with mouth-watering slow smoked hot food. Its popularity soon saw locals requesting the rig to come to their own private events or parties, and it now gets around quite a lot of different venues providing catering for events such as weddings, birthday parties, charity events, trade days and workplace functions.

Not long after, we opened our retail shop front on Moon Street in Ballina, where locals could grab hot takeaway smoked meals, our variety of Heat’N’Eat packs and homemade sauces. Although the shop has since closed, our focus has shifted to bringing that same great flavour and service directly to your events through our on-site and DIY catering options.
